It is a humble but a versatile tool to quickly identify metal lines running paralely to each other. Most of the times EPL is used in conjunction with Ground Penetrating Radar, however EPL is powerful enough to trace out buried metallic lines.
At our company, we are working on combining EPL with Gagan based GPS system and panoramic camera to extract precise location of the buried line.
